Above you will find the Border Crossing Cards for Elizabeth, Kasimir, Julianna and other members of the family.
Elizabeth's Card shows she arrived on the 1st of July, 1903 and that she was accompanied by her son, Jacob aged 18, Rosalia aged 28 (daughter in law), Johann aged 6 and a child Rochus aged 9 months.
Elizabeth was aged 60, her passage was paid for by her husband George and she was going to meet him in Richardton, N.D. On her person she had $4500.
Kasimir arrived at the port of Halifax from Hamburg on the May 27th, 1903 with his wife and brothers. He was 23 years of age and a farmer. He was going to Richardton to stay with a cousin Hannes Berger. On his person he had $10.
Julianna also arrived in Halifax with her husband on May 27th, 1903. She was 20 years of age and was going to Richardton with her husband. They had no children with them when they crossed the border in to America.
The other Border Crossing Cards are for Kasimir's brothers, Rafael with his wife Helene and Nicodemus with his wife Regina. They had all sailed together on the S.S. Bulgaria and were going to stay with a cousin Hannes in Richardton, North Dakota.
With the Ships Manifest, it shows on the original that Helene is pregnant and that Nicodemus, Regina, Kasimir and Julianna are suffering from Trachoma, hence the Doctors Certificate allowing them to travel.
